Ken's Study Planner is Now Recruiting!
Dear Reader/Subscriber,
Do you still remember this slogan?
Technology isn’t Easy, Development is Busy
Ken’s Study Planner will soon become my self-led group project and may be renamed to Plandline at the start of 2026.
Personal Project → Self-led Group Project
- Are you Curious about the Technologies, Algorithms and Server Structures Behind?
- Want to Make Ken's Study Planner Better (like our Mobile App in the Future)?
We are now recruiting Web & Backend Developers (voluntary).
If you are thinking about:
- "Will there be an admission test or interview?"
- "Will it be very tough to get in to your project?"
Actually, it's NOT the case on my project!
Different from other project groups, our project uses "Collaboration for Beginners" Scheme I proposed. That means:
- Whether you are experienced or not, Everyone is Welcome!
- No CV or Past Experience Required
- No Admission Tests or Interviews
Received only 3 applications from Hong Kong university students (far below our quota) till 14 March 2025 (i.e., lack of workforce), it is Now Open to Mainland China! (targeting university and high school students)
We may also organise face-to-face events in our Guangzhou City for participants.
If you are interested, please email plandline<at>kenstudyjourney<dot>cn to join (NO need to attach CVs).
My Future Development Pathway
While academics was the most important thing in high school, our university cares not only academics but extra-curricular activities, job/internship, etc.
I personally have objections about this as I can't handle a large number of things.
This is one of the reasons why I lost my interest in sharing my study tips.
Having been developing my Ken's Study Journey personal project and research for over 6 years, I am not interested in any student society at university.
Despite this incident, I changed my direction to software development, so as the Plandline (Ken's Study Planner) Project.
Ken's Study Journey Needs your Understanding & Support
Recently, I realised that while there are over 200 Ken's Study Planner users (great milestone and achievement) in Mainland China, it may not be recognisable outside including Hong Kong.
This is also why I decided, by utilising Ken's Study Journey Guangzhou Office (CN-CAN) and Ken's Study Planner users, to recruit members from Mainland.
Similar Examples:
- DeepSeek and ChatGPT
- Weixin/WeChat and WhatsApp
- AlipayHK and Octopus
- Face/Hand and Card Authentication/Payment
- Barcode Payment and NFC Payment
- Parking System: Car Plate Recognition (Mainland) and Octopus (Hong Kong)
Whether loss of interest or lack of support from university and other students, they slowed down my development.
Fortunately, I will receive support and funding from my parents with supportive attitude for my projects and initiatives.
Only with your support can Ken's Study Journey bring you enhanced service and experience.
If you do not wish to join our Plandline Project, you are still welcome to email me (ken<at>kenstudyjourney<dot>cn) about your idea and suggestions (or just chat with me).
