Notes for Ken’s Study Planner 4 Upgrade

Technology isn’t Easy, Development is Busy

Dear Ken’s Study Planner users,

Thanks for choosing and using Ken’s Study Planner!

Together with Ken’s Study Journey 5th Anniversary, Ken’s Study Planner 4 is almost done and the upgrade will take place on 14 February 2024 at 08:00 (GMT+8).

Please note the following for a smooth upgrade process:

1. Please refrain from editing Ken’s Study Planner data on 14 Feb. 2024 (between 07:50 and 08:20; GMT+8).
   - Although Ken’s Study Journey uses its maximum effort for the consistency of the user data before and after the upgrade, some data may be lost due to technical limitations.
2. If you find data discrepancies (e.g. some data lost or incorrect) after the upgrade, please contact me by email.
   
- Ken’s Study Journey has to deal with over 100 users worldwide. Your data is encrypted.
   - Data Backups will take place before this Planner upgrade.
3. Your previous iCalendar (System Calendar) subscription links will become invalid.
   - Get your new links at the left sidebar “API/Integration” > “iCalendar (.ics) API”.

In the past few months, Ken’s Study Journey has overcome a number of technical difficulties, including handling third-party API crawls and file uploads (for Projects/Events import), new UI/UX design, user-created custom categories, drag-and-drop for orders, security enhancements, and so on.

Technology isn’t Easy, Development is Busy. Only with patience and ambition can we develop modern useful technologies.
